DREAM

 I am sharing my first DT inspiration post for SPLASHYMIX. January is the first month of the year so we all want to begin this year with a new resolution, new dream and on a positive note. This month's mood board displays the same vibe. The colours are so beautiful that indulge us to dream for a better future. The quotation I used in my work is 'A single dream is more powerful than a thousand realities'.

I tried to convey through my work that during this tough time worldwide and new normal rules, nature always brings us peace. We love to escape from reality for a moment and visit mother nature to rejuvenate our spirit, hope and enthusiasm.

Christmas Cards

 I have created two mixed media cards on Christmas theme which are perfect for gifting to your friends or relatives. We all prefer to give handmade gifts as our token of love to dear ones.So, I created these cards according to the theme with lots of Christmas embellishments like Santa, flowers, ferns, bells etc.

Vanishing Visitors

 I am sharing my recent mixed media layout. This work depicts my view of new sparkling beginning of days of hope and prosperity. I expressed my thoughts on this layout using lots of glitters and embellishments.

Returned Wanderers

 Today I am sharing my recent creation i.e. an altered MDF circular board. The tagline of my work is ' Returned Wanderers'. I am always fascinated by Magic and fairy tales so, I tried to incorporate a fairy, magical & a bit of vintage theme in my work. Focal element of my work is a joyful little girl with wings which portrays the limitless opportunities of a dreamer and fascinations, the girl feels from fairy tales where she creates her own wonderland through imaginations.

Believe in MAGIC

 I am presenting my recent work i.e. an altered canvas. The name of my work is 'Believe in magic'. I created this mixed media project inspired by the mood board of November month's challenge of @finnabair art recipe challenge.

This world is full of magic and I think who believes, can find it. Everyone has got the magic inside which is needed a spark to become true. We all need that spark with a sense of believe to eventually make a moment of glittering, colorful, sparkling, shiny magic.

Feminine Mixed Media Project

 Today I'm sharing my first post as a design team member CrafTangles on the HNDMD blog.

I created a mixed media following the theme of September month's challenge 'Feminine'.
The quotation of my work is ‘Beauty may be dangerous but intelligence is lethal’. Time and again women received compliments mainly for their beauty and excellency in household works and if they do jobs then only how well they can manage both. Since childhood we all heard lots of idioms on those compliments too. Most of the time we don’t get appreciated for our academic achievements, job excellency or as an entrepreneur and even if we get acknowledgement, our gender comes first like ‘best female entrepreneur’, where it should be only the ‘best entrepreneur’ but we don’t see the same for our counterpart. So, I created this layout to portray that femininity doesn’t only reflect beauty but brain too and when those combine, becomes lethal.
